Yesterday Kate and after played at the Emergenza Festival, the opening stage, and after a good performance the band made it to the semi finals. We would like to thank all the people who voted for us and we are looking forward to seeing you at Sticky top floor in the beginning of April.

Furthermore we would like to inform you that we have written a few new songs which will be performed the next time we play live. There are some really good stuff being created!

Our christmas single, Snow Angel, has been voted "Track of the Week" at the radiostation Pite fm. The song will be played once every hour during week 50. We are of course very happy about this and would like to thank all voters for the support. Yesterday and today, Kate and After are in the studio recording our new christmas song. Today, our 9 men strong choir came and visited us recording the lovely choirs and it sounds great! Now mixing and mastering remains until we can publish the result. Prepare for christmas feeling :)

Last week we had our second gig on Sticky Fingers, to the right you can see a shot of the band, performing "Mr. Sovereign".

Now it's time for Kate and After to break new ground and for the first time take our music to the capital of Sweden. On Oktober 23rd the band will enter the stage on Klubb Democrazy at Landet in Stockholm. Make sure to make your way there, it will be huge!

At the same time we are preparing for a couple of new recordings. First of all we are putting some effort into getting a new singel recorded and we are now focusing on finding the right producer, the right studio and on refining the song to perfection. Secondly we have been asked to make a christmas song for the competition "Unsigned Christmas". I'm really happy to say that both the poppish indie rock and the holiday spirit is present in the song.

So, as you can hear, there is a lot to look forward to! Keep your eyes and ears open for more Kate and After-magic, we hope to see you soon.

After playing together with Jonas for more than six years, I've heard him dream about a VOX AC30 guitar amplifier countless times. Just like my own Hammond organ, it has been a dream for him and today it came true!

Therefore I would like to share a beautiful picture of him, his loved guitar and his newly arrived amplifier from our rehearsal room.

Since we just had an intensive but lovely period of gigs last two weeks, we will now focus on our next studio recording and write a new song or two for our september gigs. See you there!

Kate and After are currently in an intense period of gigs, last weekend we had an unforgetable, energetic club gig at Ballroom, Henriksberg. A bunch of thanks to all of you who showed up and contributed to a marvellous night!

Saturday and Sunday we played at the "Powerboat - Havets Grand Prix"-event. The first two one hour gigs for Kate and After. Thanks to the audience, the Kate and After crew and the guys helping us out with the sound.

The upcoming saturday it is time for Kate and After to play at GP Scen Finals on Järntorget, Gothenburg. Please come by and check it out. Starting time is 2 pm and we'll make sure to give you a great show.

Kate and After spent last week in the dark forests of Hultsfred. Music were listened to, Kids were taken care of, booze was drunk, contacts were made and inspiration was at hand.

A beautiful little anecdote from last week was the bonding of Carl and N.A.S.A. They were discussing Leslies, Hammond Organs and exchanging pleasantries all on the basis of love, music, understanding and aliens.

After lasts week mini-vacation Kate and After will turn on their engines again, focusing on writing some more songs and preparing for their August gigs. Love to see you there!

On April 1st Kate and After played at Sticky Fingers, Gothenburg. The band would like to take the opportunity to send a bunch of thanks to everyone that made it a fantastic night.
